Six teams hit the court on Tuesday night in the Moose Jaw High School Junior Boys Volleyball League with games happening at Central and Riverview.

It was a back-and-forth night at Central Collegiate as the Cyclones hosted the Craik Cougars and Central Butte Bulldogs.

The opening match of the night saw Central Butte knock off Craik in three sets (13-25, 25-18, 15-17).

The Bulldogs followed that up with a straight set loss (25-23, 25-20) to the Cyclones, who in turn followed up their win with a straight set loss (25-18, 25-23) to Craik.

In the end, Central and Craik both went 2-2, while Central Butte finished the night 2-3.

The Riverview/Mortlach Royals played host to the Vanier Vikings and Peacock Toilers for a three-team round robin on Tuesday.

The host Royals walked away with the best record of the night, going 4-1 in their two matches, opening the night with a three-set win (14-25, 25-14, 15-13) over Vanier and then rolling over Peacock in two sets (25-22, 25-12).

The other game had the Vikings scoring a two-set win (25-18, 25-17) over the Toilers.

The Moose Jaw High School Senior Volleyball League is on the court for four games on Wednesday night.

The Central Cyclones will play host the Peacock Toilers in a girls and boys doubleheader.

In other action, the Vanier Vikings and Spirits are hitting the road to Caronport for a girls game and Avonlea for a boys game.

The girls games hit the court at 6:15 p.m. followed by the boys games at 8 p.m.
