The Moose Jaw Atom A Red Warriors and the Peewee A Warriors are off to the finals.

The two local teams punched their ticket into their respective Hockey Regina league finals with wins on Monday night in the Queen City.

Both teams will be back on the ice this weekend to play for the championships.

Atom A: Red Warriors 7 Shamrocks 2

Lachlan Clark scored a hat trick to lead the Moose Jaw Red Warriors into the Hockey Regina’s Atom A league final with a 7-2 win over the Regina Shamrocks on Monday.

Brodyn Pladson finished with two goals and three points to help the Red Warriors to the win, while Carter Hudyma added a goal and three points.

The Warriors led 3-1 after the first and extended that advantage to 6-1 after two before sealing the win with Pladson's second of the game in the third period.

Benjamin Barth earned the win in goal for the Red Warriors.

Moose Jaw will now await the winner between the Shamrocks and Lumsden in the league final game, which goes on Saturday.

Peewee A: Warriors 6 Tigers 2

The Moose Jaw Warriors kept their perfect record intact on Monday night with a 6-2 win over the Regina Tigers at the Co-Operators Centre.

Tayden Hardwicke had two goals and three points to lead the way for the Warriors, while Layne Gadd finished with a goal and three points.

Benjamin Kiefer, Donovan Harkness and Kale Pratte also scored in the win for Moose Jaw.

The Warriors are now into the league final on Saturday. Before that, they will play Game 2 of their two-game total point provincial final series against Prince Albert, which is tied at 4-4, on Friday at the Red Knight Arena.
