Warriors defenceman Daemon Hunt is one of the newest members of the Minnesota Wild.  Hunt was selected in the 3rd round, 65th overall, at the 2020 NHL Entry Draft.

Last season, Hunt had 15 points in 28 games with the Warriors.  He missed 32 games due to an upper-body injury sustained in early December.

Drafted by the Warriors 15th overall in the 1st round of the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft, Hunt has played 94 WHL games and had eight goals, 29 assists, and 37 points.

The 65th overall pick was originally owned by the Detroit Red Wings, however, the Minnesota Wild were able to complete a trade to move up and select Hunt.

Daemon Hunt is the first-ever Moose Jaw Warrior to be selected by the Minnesota Wild.
