The Moose Jaw Warriors will host its Hockey Fights Cancer Night on Friday, November 20.

This event was founded in 1998 by the NHL and NHL Players’ Association and aims to unite the hockey community in support of cancer patients and families.

The team will wear Hockey Fights Cancer-themed jerseys and fans can submit a photo of a loved one who they would like to honour and those pictures will be placed on the numbers on the back of the jerseys worn during the game.

These jerseys will then be auctioned off and the proceeds will go to the Saskatchewan branch of the Canadian Cancer Society.

There will also be other ways to donate to the initiative during the game.

This will be the second time the Warriors hold this event.
