Jaret Schneider has been named the new director of business operations for the Moose Jaw Warriors.

Schneider, who is originally from Shellbrook, began his career in northern Manitoba as he spent a year in a marketing position with the OCN Blizzards of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.

That led Schneider to Melfort, where he would work for the Mustangs of the SJHL.

“I spent the last four years in Melfort as their sort of everything guy. I was in charge of communications, game day operation, the ticket office. I got to look over everything for the last four years, which was awesome. I really enjoyed my time in Melfort and that's what brought me here,” Schneider said.

Schneider now joins the Warriors front office and things are slowing down even though the Warriors aren’t on the ice right now.

“This is our busy time of year. We've got great support and great partners here in Moose Jaw they are so supportive of the team and of us. So, it makes things easy,” Schneider said.

“It makes the transition nice and really looking forward to getting things back on the ice and get started again.”

Season tickets will become available soon, but details are still being worked out.

Sponsorship packages are available right now for businesses that want to get involved with the Warriors. Anyone interested can call the Warriors office or email Schneider at jaret@mjwarriors.ca
