It didn’t take long for Moose Jaw Warriors defenceman Josh Brook to hear his name on Day 2 of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.  Brook was selected in the second round, 56th overall, by the Montreal Canadiens.
 
Brook, six-foot-two 185 pounds, will be entering his third season with the Warriors in the fall, last season he had eight goals, 32 points, and 40 points in 69 games which was first among Moose Jaw defenceman and had him placed seventh in team scoring.

In the 2017 WHL Playoffs, Brook had two goals and seven points and was the Warriors leading playoff scorer.
 
The Roblin, Manitoba product was selected by the Warriors with the fourth overall pick in the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft. In 100 WHL regular season games, he has 12 goals and 50 points.
 
Brook has plenty of international experience with Hockey Canada, he played at the 2016 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup, the 2017 World Under-18 Championships, and the 2015 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.
 
Brook will take part in Montreal’s summer development camp in the coming weeks and will return to Moose Jaw in late August for the Warriors' 2017 Training Camp.
