The Comeback Kids struck again on Saturday afternoon. Brayden Tracey was the overtime hero for the Moose Jaw Warriors, as they came from behind to beat the Lethbridge Hurricanes, 3-2, on Saturday afternoon at Mosaic Place.

The Warriors trailed the Hurricanes 2-0 with just over five minutes to go, but Josh Brook and Tristin Langan scored back-to-back goals with the goalie pulled to tie the game.

Tracey took a penalty in overtime, but came out of the box and won the game for Moose Jaw, beating Reece Klassen on the Warriors' 36th shot of the game.

The Warriors have now won five straight games and they have points in nine of their last 10.

Both of Lethbridge's goals came in the third period as Taylor Ross broke open a scoreless game just 4:57 into the frame. Keltie Jeri-Leon provided some cushion 4:56 later, when he snapped the puck over goalie Adam Evanoff's glove.

The Warriors found life with their goalie pulled in the final two minutes, scoring twice with their net empty for the second time this season.

The game was tight right from the start. Throughout the first period, there were moments where both teams played to their strengths, Moose Jaw created pressure with an aggressive fore-check while Lethbridge used their speed to go on the attack.

Late in the frame, the Warriors went on to back-to-back power plays and had good looks at the Lethbridge net but weren't able to finish, and went into the intermission scoreless.

The second period was similar to the first as both teams again did a good job creating quality scoring chances, however, Evanoff and Klassen were sharp, as they turned away a combined 24 shots in the period to keep the game scoreless.

The Warriors had their chances early in the third period to break the tie, but they weren't able to punch the puck in.

Lethbridge took control with the back-to-back goals, but a hooking penalty on a Justin Almeida breakaway gave the Warriors the opening they were looking for to mount their second comeback of the weekend.

Langan led the Warriors with a goal and three points, Tracey finished with a goal and two points, and Jett Woo picked up two assists. Evanoff was sharp for the Warriors, making 25 saves in the victory.

Moose Jaw finished 1-for-3 on the power play, while also going 2-for-2 on the penalty kill.

The Warriors are off now until next week when they'll play four games in five days in the Central Division. The trip starts on Wednesday in Cranbrook, B.C. against the Kootenay Ice; then it's off to Alberta for games in Edmonton, Red Deer, and Calgary on the weekend.
