The Moose Jaw Warriors have sent 19-year-old forward Carson Denomie to play for his hometown Regina Pats, and have acquired 18-year-old forward Garrett Wright in return.

Wright has seven assists in 17 games this season.

Denomie got a lot of ice time on the top lines in the absence of Brayden Tracey, scoring five goals and eight assists in 19 games this season.

Wright, from Mesa, Arizona, scored seven goals and four assists in 63 games with the Pats last season.

“We are pleased to add Garrett Wright to our hockey club. As an 18-year-old he fits in well with what we are building here and we believe he has very good upside in his game. Garrett is a solid player with good skills,” commented General Manager Alan Millar.  “I'd also like to thank Carson Denomie on his time with our team and wish him the best."
