Moose Jaw Warriors defenceman Cory King. It's the biggest game the Moose Jaw Warriors have played this season, but it's online only.

Warriors defenceman Cory King will take to the virtual ice Saturday against Kamloops Blazer Kyrell Sopotyk.

The two will battle in a game of NHL2021 in the Canadian Hockey League’s Memorial E-Cup.

The tournament consists of representatives from 60 teams and four ‘celebrities’.

King admitted he's never been quite this nervous before a video game before.

“I haven't had one this big before I don't think,” he said.

The winner between Sopotyk and King will move on to play the winner between Prince George Cougar Majid Kaddoura and Edmonton Oil King Jalen Luypen.

King has been watching a bit of the first round as the tournament has gone on.

“I watched the Carson Denomie from Regina.  My old buddy. We used to play together, but it didn't go too well for him. But he said the other guy was pretty good. So, who knows what's going to happen Saturday.”

King's match with Sopotyk is available to watch on Facebook live and twitch at 4:40 pm tomorrow Saskatchewan time.
