The Moose Jaw Warriors are going cougar hunting Tuesday night in Prince George.

This will be game 5 of 7 for the Warriors on their current 2 week, 7 game road trip that so far is going very well.

The boys have won 3 games and lost only 1 which came in overtime to Vancouver this past weekend.

A big reason for their success has been the play of Justin Almeida, who was just named the WHL's player of the week.

"Yeah it's huge. A few guys on our team have had it before and it's always great to be recognized. We just want to continue our team play."

Almeida says there are a couple of areas the team can improve on heading into the last 3 games of the trip.

"We need to continue to play with pace. On these long road trips you can get fatigued. So if we can play with pace, we will be good."

This will also be somewhat of a homecoming for Almeida, as he will be returning to face the team that traded him to the Warriors 2 years ago.

"I have some friends on that team, a lot of friends in the city and family here, so it's cool to come back and see where I started in the league. But I'm a Warrior for sure."

Almeida has recorded 8 points so far in the first 4 games of the road trip and he'll be looking for more Tuesday night. Game time is 9 pm and you can hear all the action on Country 100 starting with the pre-game show at 8:40 pm.
