The Moose Jaw Warriors finally got to hit the practice ice on March 5 in the hub city of Regina as they get ready for the 2020-2021 WHL East Division season.

It's been on an offseason of uncertainty for the team, from being unsure if they could play, to learning they would be in a bubble in Regina, to waiting on COVID-19 tests before they could practice.

Head coach Mark O’Leary said this season will be about finding the team’s identity.

“We talked about the same things all offseason in terms of shifting the culture a little bit or going from the losing that we did last year. It's only a waste if you don't learn from it,” O’Leary said.

The Warriors open their season in Regina against the Brandon Wheat Kings on Friday at 4 p.m.

You can catch all of the action live with the Voice of the Warriors James Gallo on Country 100.
