The Moose Jaw Warriors finished their road trip on a high note with an overtime win on Saturday in Seattle.

The team can now rest a little easier now that they have a few days off and are back at home.

For Centre Noah Gregor, he's looking forward to having the next few games in a familiar rink.

"It'll be fun, because everyone loves playing in Moose Jaw, everyone likes the rink and the fans are nice, so it'll be nice to be at home for the next little while."

Saturday's win marked the first overtime win of the season with the 3-2 victory, which was a monkey off the back for Gregor.

"Being winless going into all of our overtimes was a little nerve-racking, but it was nice to pop a goal in and know that you can finish off a game. It was really nice to get those two points."

Playing without their captain and leading scorer, Brayden Point, the Warriors can look back at their road trip as a positive one.

The team went 2-2-2 over the 6 game stretch, and Gregor says it's a good start.

"Overall it was good. It's nice to know that we can play like this with Brayden out of the line-up and we know we'll have to do that when he's at World Juniors, so it''s good that we know we can perform like this."

The Warriors are back on the ice this Friday as they'll take on the Saskatoon Blades at 7:00 PM. The Pre-Game Show will be on the air at 6:40 PM with Western Nissan Warriors Hockey on Country 100.
