The Moose Jaw Warriors selected a pair of American players at the inaugural U.S. Prospects draft Wednesday afternoon.

They took forward Cameron McEwan from the Dallas Stars Elite 14U team with the 20th overall selection and forward Josh Halliday from the California Golden Bears 14U AA team with the 25th pick.

McEwan had a goal and seven assists in nine games with Dallas this season, while Halliday lit the lamp with 37 goals and 47 assists in 44 games in Major AA.

The WHL’s bantam draft has been rescheduled for April 22.
