Barrett Sheen found out his punishment on Tuesday.

The Moose Jaw Warriors forward was suspended for five games by the Western Hockey League after receiving a game misconduct last Saturday in Medicine Hat.

Sheen delivered a blow to the head of Tigers 17-year-old defenceman Joel Craven during the second period of the Warriors’ 5-3 loss at the Canalta Centre. The Warriors’ 19-year-old was given a five-minute major and a game misconduct on the play.

Sheen will be eligible to return for the Warriors on Feb. 16 against the Regina Pats.

The Warriors are back in action this Friday when they host the Red Deer Rebels at Mosaic Place.
