When the Moose Jaw Warriors made the trip into Cranbrook ten days ago, they walked away with a 9-2 win over the Kootenay Ice.

The local WHL team will be looking for a repeat performance on Wednesday night when they open a four-game Central Division road trip against the Ice.

"We've got to take it to them right from the start and not let at all throughout the game, so we've just got to take it to them for a full 60 minutes," said Warriors captain Josh Brook.

The Warriors are currently riding a five-game winning streak after picking up a pair of comeback wins last weekend on home ice. While the Warriors would rather that they don’t have to come from behind to win, Brook said the team has confidence that they’re never out of a game.

"It's a lot nicer to play with the lead, but it's good to know that we can score with the goalie out," he said.

With not much time to rest this week, it's going to be a tough road trip for the Warriors, who sport a sparkling 5-1-1-0 record on the road so far this season.

"We need to drink lots of water, eat lots of good food, and try to get as much sleep as you can," said Brook. "You have to play your game, stick to the game plan, don't go too far away from it, make sure you're saving as much energy as you can by playing smart."

Brook said the team was able to bond during their two-game road trip a few weeks ago and they'll come closer together this week.

"This is where you really get to know your teammates and you get close, it's very important for a team to get to know each other, so it will be awesome," said Brook.

Another win would go a long way towards helping that, the Warriors look for their sixth consecutive win when they face-off with the Ice at 8 p.m. on Wednesday night. The Pre-Game Show is at 7:40 p.m. on Country 100.
