The Moose Jaw Warriors' uniforms for Friday night’s meeting with the Medicine Hat Tigers at Mosaic Place will be Grapes approved.

Friday's game will see the Warriors sporting Don Cherry-themed jerseys and socks, which are part of the Western Hockey League Suits Up with Don Cherry to Promote Organ Donation fund-raiser.

This is the second straight year that the Warriors and WHL are taking part in the initiative, which is raising funds for the Moose Jaw chapter of the Kidney Foundation of Canada.

The Warriors' jerseys are white-based and modelled after one of Cherry's famous suits with the team's two logos covering the uniform. The players also had the opportunity to choose a nickname to be used in the name bar.

The jerseys will be auctioned off throughout the game. During the 2017-18 season, the 17 Canadian WHL teams raised over $265,000 through the jersey auctions.

The Warriors and Tigers face-off on Friday night at 7 p.m. at Mosaic Place. The Pre-Game Show is on the air at 6:40 p.m. on Country 100.
