The Moose Jaw High School Junior Girls Volleyball League was busy with ten teams on the court at three schools on Wednesday night.

At Peacock during the four-team round-robin, the Green Toilers and Avonlea went 4-2 to lead the pack, while Peacock Orange and Vanier were 2-4.

The Green Toilers opened their night with a two-set win (25-12, 25-21) over the Orange Toilers, they followed that up with a two-set loss to Avonlea (25-17, 25-16), and then swept Vanier in two hard-fought sets (25-21, 28-26).

The Eagles picked up a two-set win (25-10, 25-16), then lost in two sets (25-22, 25-21) to Vanier.

The Spirits lost in both sets against the Orange Toilers, falling 25-23, 25-5.

The Central Red Cyclones had a great night in Rouleau as they posted a 4-1 record during the three-team round-robin.

Central opened the night by beating the host Rebels in three sets (25-14, 14-25, 16-14) and then they swept the Central Gold Cyclones in two sets (25-11, 25-5).

Rouleau won in two sets (25-12, 25-10) over the Gold Cyclones in the other match of the night.

In Mortlach, the Central Butte Bulldogs were the lone team to go undefeated on the night as they won all four sets during the three-team round-robin.

Central Butte knocked off the Riverview/Mortlach Royals in two sets (25-13, 25-19) and the Briercrest Christian Academy Cougars in two sets (25-13, 25-14).

The Royals beat the Cougars in three sets (25-18, 15-25, 15-13).
