Three local lacrosse teams saw action on Wednesday night in the South Saskatchewan Lacrosse League.

The Peewee Mustangs lost for just the third time this season, falling 5-1 to the Regina Outlaws at the Al Ritchie Arena. The Mustangs now sit at 8-3-1 on the year, which has them tied for first place with the Swift Current Rampage to close out the regular season.

The Novice Mustangs 2 went into Weyburn and won 6-5 over the Thrashers 2. The win improved the Mustangs 2 record to 7-3-2 to finish the regular season.

The Midget Mustangs dropped a 6-4 game to the Rush in Regina. They're now 6-4 this season heading into their regular season finale against Standing Buffalo on Saturday in Regina.

The playoffs for all divisions starts on Monday.
