Tuesday night didn’t turn out how the two Moose Jaw bantam lacrosse teams had hoped.

Coming off a big win on Monday night in the semifinals, the White Mustangs couldn’t find the same success in the Queen City Box Lacrosse League final and lost 6-2 to the Regina Rush, forcing them to settle for silver.

Earlier in the night, the Red Mustangs ended up finishing in fourth place after they dropped a 7-3 game to the Regina Snipers in the bronze medal game.

The two teams will be combining for provincials next weekend in Prince Albert.

The Novice Mustangs are going for gold on Wednesday night when they head into Regina to face the Snipers. They hit the court at 7:15 p.m. at the Al Ritchie Arena.
