Moose Jaw's Marie Wright and Saskatchewan 1 are sitting in a tie for first place in their pool after three days of action at the 2019 Canadian Wheelchair Curling Championship.

Saskatchewan 1 -- which also features Moose Gibson at lead -- improved their record to 3-1 with a 10-4 win over British Columbia 2 during Day 3 action on Sunday in Boucherville, Que.

Moose Jaw's Donna Ackerman has Saskatchewan 2 sitting at 2-2 after splitting their games on Sunday. They fell 9-3 to Alberta and then beat Ontario 2, 8-2.

In the morning draw on Sunday, Saskatchewan 1 used a pair of three-enders to edge B.C. 2, scoring three in the first and three in the sixth in the win.

Saskatchewan 2 faced off with undefeated Alberta on Sunday morning. Alberta got off to a hot start with two in the first and a steal of two in the second. Saskatchewan struck back with one in the third and two in the fourth to make it 4-3, but Alberta finished the win with two in the fifth, two in the sixth and one in the seventh.

That loss was erased quickly from Saskatchewan 2's memory as they came out with a dominating win over Ontario 2 in the afternoon. They opened with a deuce in the first, added one in the second and then stole three in the third for a 6-0 advantage. They added singles in the fourth and fifth before Ontario scored singles of their own in the sixth and seventh.

Both teams have a pair of games on the schedule for Monday, Saskatchewan 1 will take on Northern Ontario at 12:30 p.m. and then they go up against Quebec 1 at 5 p.m. Saskatchewan 2 takes on British Columbia 1 in the morning draw at 8 a.m. and then they return to the ice to face New Brunswick at 12:30 p.m.
