The provincial government reported 1,084 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday along with 617 recoveries and no new deaths.

The new cases are located in the Far North West (23), Far North East (15), North West (40), North Central (22), North East (10), Saskatoon (416), Central West (6), Central East (48), Regina (287), South West (23), South Central (27) and South East (86) zones and 81 new cases have pending residence information.

Of the new cases in the South Central zone, 25 are in the South Central 2 subzone that includes the City of Moose Jaw.

8,707 cases are considered active. There are 373 active cases in the South Central zone and 294 cases active in the South Central 2 subzone.

121 people are in hospital with COVID-19. 112 are receiving inpatient care with 57 of those hospitalized with COVID-19-related infections, 45 are incidental, asymptomatic and 10 are still to be determined. There are 9 people in ICU including 7 COVID-19 related admissions and two incidental, asymptomatic infections.
