Phone lines opened first thing in the morning, Thursday, May 4th with the goal of raising $150,000 to purchase new critical care equipment.

Following a 36-hour long broadcast from the Dr. Wigmore Regional Hospital, The 11th annual 800 CHAB Family First Radiothon came to a close Friday evening at 6 o'clock. The total count amounted to $159,383.

This total could not be reached without the generosity of Moose Jaw and surrounding area. Everyone at the radiothon extend their thanks to the community for all of the incredible support.

By meeting the goal, the Moose Jaw Health Foundation will be able to purchase critical care equipment for the Wigmore Regional Hospital to aid in the incredible work they do for our community.

Here's a video of the donation from the Curtis family on behalf of their parents Dorothy and Lyall Curtis, that was received during the final moments of the radiothon.
