We went quite a while with seeing little to no traffic on High Street in Moose Jaw, but as of this week that's no longer the case.

It might not be day to day traffic, but crews from the city, contractors and SaskPower have all begun projects along the stretch of road.

Crews had the intersection of 4th Avenue and High Street closed on Tuesday during the day and the closure is scheduled for Wednesday as well.

The intersection will be blocked off starting at 8 am and is set to reopen and be back to normal by the end of the work day.

The temporary closure has been put in place so that SaskPower crews can work on underground wiring that services the nearby street lights.
