Elm Tree Banding

 A reminder that the Elm Pruning Ban is now on.  It is illegal to prune Elm trees from April 1 to August 31.

An investigation that lead up to the pulling over of a vehicle on highway 1 near Moose Jaw, resulted in drugs being seized.

The Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit were assisted by RCMP and the Moose Jaw Police Service during the investigation, and successfully arrested a 30 year old man on drug-related charges.

He was stopped on February 4th, and the task force found 200 grams of cocaine, with an estimated street value of about $20,000.

The unidentified male faces 2 charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
