Manitoba RCMP are asking for our help in locating a mother who is apparently on the run with her infant daughter.

Officers say 36 year old Rebecca Mikalosh was supposed to bring 18 month old Seaira to a parental visitation with the father but never arrived.  Police spoke with her on the phone several times but she indicated she had no plans on going and refused to meet with police.

While she was taking care of Seaira, she did not have the authority to take her daughter outside of her local area. Police now believe Mikalosh could be travelling in Saskatchewan, possibly around north Battleford or even onto Alberta in a grey 2001 Ford Taurus.

A Canada wide warrant has been issued for the Abduction of a child under 14. Mikalosh is described as Caucasian, approximately 5'6'', 120 lbs, short brown hair.

An Amber Alert has not been issued as there is no indication of imminent danger to the child.
