PST will be added to insurance premiums a little later than than initially thought.

The Government of Saskatchewan has extended the effective date for PST to be applied to premiums from July 1st of this year to August 1st.

The government says they made the move in consultation with the insurance industry and the extension will give insurance companies more time to deal with the pending change.
