Elm Pruning Ban in Effect

April 1 to August 31 each year. More info here....

The man charged in an Easter Sunday incident in downtown Moose Jaw has been sentenced.

60-year old Jack Raymond Keewatin was given a year behind bars Thursday morning, after pleading guilty to assault with an imitation weapon, among other charges.

Keewatin caused a stir by waving what turned out to be a fake gun at the intersection of Main and Manitoba Streets on April 16th.

No one was hurt, although there was a three-vehicle crash as drivers attempted to flee the scene.

Keewatin has already been behind bars for three months, and has 233 days left to serve as of July 13. He'll then be on probation for a year.
