A preliminary hearing date has been set for John Smolinski after several delays and months before the courts.

The 34-year old Weyburn native is charged with impaired driving causing death in a February crash on Highway 39 that killed a 62-year old man. His case has been adjourned a number of times after issues securing legal council.

The pre-trial hearings are set to begin October 16th in Moose Jaw Provincial Court.
