We're less than 2 months out from the Moose Jaw Saskatchewan Senior Fitness Association (SSFA) 55+ Provincial Games 2018, and the board in charge is looking for help.

Volunteers are going to be needed for the three day sporting event taking place July 10th to the 12th.

"We were looking at about 150 volunteers to make this happen and the reason why we need so many is because the events are all across Moose Jaw so we have people up at Dooley's, we have various schools where we're going to to do pickle ball, we've got slow pitch diamonds, we have the track going," explained Darlene Guy, the Volunteer Co-Chair. "So its very much across the whole city of Moose Jaw."

They currently already have a number of volunteers signed up, but they need more. They are hoping more teachers and high school students sign up to help, as they help out with track and field events at their school's track meets.

People from across the province are coming down, so they need help organizing and setting up for events and helping sign in people.

If you do sign up, Guy says you most likely won't hear from them until June 12th. That will be when they have all their events, locations, and set up laid out in a better and clearer plan.

You can head to the Moose Jaw SSFA 55+ Provincial Games 2018's Facebook page for more details on how to volunteer.
