Parents are constantly looking for ways to keep kids busy over the summer months.

This can be challenging as each kid has unique interests and skills so the Moose Jaw Museum and Art Gallery has summer classes for kids to take part in all summer long.

Over the last number of years they have had two different classes for ages 3-5 and 6-8. Savannah Pinfold of the Gallery explains how somethings are changing this year.

"This summer is a little bit different so we usually have 3-5 and 6-8 classes and we still have those but now its 9-11 and 12 and up classes. (We have) everything that you could want to do over the summer there are chances for every student and child to get artistic."

The classes that they are offering run all summer long and can have great benefit for more than just the kids says Pinfold.

"All the materials are included in the price you get to take everything home we get to go outside there is always snacks like on Fridays there is popcorn you get to take home great art pieces and they are great for grandmas and grandpas or moms and dads."

There are a couple of different ways to register your child for the classes this summer and Pinfold outlined her favorite way to register.

"You can call the art gallery anytime we are open 12-5 Tuesday to Friday you can call in the morning, you can come down and I would highly recommend it especially with all the openings going on and all the art so coming in is probably the best way to register."
