Tuesday is the first of two blood clinics taking place this month hosted by the Canadian Blood Services.

Hoping to prepare for the holidays and collisions on icy roads, they have a blood clinic opened Tuesday afternoon, asking for people with all blood types to participate.

You can give blood by heading to the Golden Nugget Centre from 2pm until 7pm. There will be walk-in spots available and you can get more information on the Canadian Blood Services website. 

If you're unable to stop by, there will be a second clinic to finish up the Christmas holidays, happening on December 26th at the same time and place.
