Nearly a month and a half since he was handed four charges, Bill Boyd's first court date ended within minutes as it was adjourned until the beginning of November.

The former Saskatchewan Economy Minister was not present for the inaugural court appearance as his defense lawyer R.J. Ard requested the postponement.

The next court date is now set for Tuesday, November 7th.

Boyd is facing one charge under the Wildlife Habitat Protection Act and three charges under the Environmental Management and Protection Act.
