Moose Jaw residents and beyond were recently treated to dazzling Northern Lights and will have another chance to view a celestial event Wednesday night.

If you're a stargazer, you're advised to put your eyes to the skies for the Geminids meteor shower.

The shower is the product of the earth passing through the trail of a now-extinct comet, and it will be particularly visible this evening because of the lack of a full moon.

If conditions are right, scientists say we could see up to 120 meteors per hour.
