13 Ways to Kill Your Community has been a trending topic here in Moose Jaw since the authour of the book, Doug Griffiths made a presentation to City Council and residents of Moose Jaw.

The Moose Jaw and District Chamber of Commerce has been involved in it, especially since they hosted the presentation to residents. They are even currently in the middle of a 13-week series where they highlight chapters from the book on their Facebook and get people involved with the topics.

Each Monday, the Chamber posts on their Facebook asking resident questions about each week. They even hold a contest with each post to try an get more engagement.

"Hopefully we can make enough noise. We have the ability to change and fight for our community no matter what the challenges, I think we can make something happen out of this," explained Rob Clark, CEO of the Chamber. "But, we also need community involvement, we need the community to get engaged with this. To comment, like and share, to comment again, and then to comment again, and comment again."

Clark added that they plan to take some of the comments and feedback on the posts to City Council.

At the end of the 13 weeks, the Chamber will be announcing a special event they are planning.
