This weekend will be busy with a number of Christmas events happening around town.  Among them is the annual Christmas production just west of the city in Caronport.

"Lost in the Snow" is the name of this years presentation.  It tells the story of several residents of a small town in the foothills near the Rocky Mountains and how a devastating snow storm draws the town together in the spirit of unity and Christmas charity.  The show continues through Sunday at the Hildebrand Chapel.  Get more information by clicking here.

Also this weekend the smell of Christmas baking will be in the air at the Legion on High street as they present their annual Christmas Bake Sale.  That starts at noon on Saturday.

The weekend lalso features "A Ferally Festive High Tea" at the Grant Hall.  Sponsored by the Stray Cat Rescue and Protection Society the event includes all the elements of a British high tea complete with festive season cello music.  Service begins at 2pm Saturday.

The weekend wraps up on Sunday with the annual Santa Claus Parade downtown.  It will make it's way up High street starting at 6pm and will be followed by the annual  Lights On ceremony at 5th Ave. Collection on Fairford Street.
