The final meeting of Moose Jaw's city council before the municipal election will be taking place tonight.

On the docket, council will hear an appeal to an order for demolition at 560 Stadacona St. W. 

The house was destroyed by fire on July 30, 2015, and everything was demolished except for the foundation and the floor system.

The owner had indicated she planned to rebuild on top of the existing foundation. However, if the last five years it has not been rebuilt.

A discretionary use application is also going before council for a retail store at 264 River St. W.

The building is zoned for light industrial and it is part of the downtown area as defined by the Downtown Local Area Plan.

An update will also be given to council on the archive record management project as the city looks to reduce space for storage by digitally archiving old records or destroying records that no longer have any archival value.

And finally, there will be three delegates to speak during the public forum.

Terri Bosner was be speaking about communication between city administrators, city council and residents. Meanwhile, Caron Berg and Todd Johnson will address council about the River Pointe Park development.
