Bringing back their annual fundraiser, Dance Images by BJ will be hosting their Kids Helping Kids fundraiser next Sunday.

A group of graduating dancers organize the event each year, where children of all ages are able to participate in a day full of dancing, activities and fun.

"The Danceathon is basically classes run throughout the day by the committee that's running it here at the studio and it's basically just a class full of games and activities and treats so that the kids have a lot of fun," graduating dancer Autumn Markin explained.

Raising money through pledges and donations, all funds will go to Creative Kids, which helps Saskatchewan kids join art and culture activities.

"It's really important because we get the privilege here to dance every week and there are some kids out there that don't get that opportunity so if we can give back a portion of what we get it's really cool," Bailey Moser said, another of the graduating dancers planning the event.

In the past years, they've held this fundraiser, they've managed to raise a total of $60,000 for the organization.

"Dance has always been a way where I can express like my true feeling and I feel that I can be so open and it's been always there for me throughout my life and it's always created a big family," Dance Images dancer Marlee Wutke said. "I think that every child should have the opportunity to try it out because it is a great thing and you get such good friends and such a good support system from it."

Although Kids Helping Kids is for Dance Images dance, they'd love donations from the community to help Creative Kids.
