You never know who is hurting. That's one of the themes from the documentary "Missing My Brother, Ted" by filmmaker Paula Stromberg. It was shown this last week ahead of World Suicide Prevention Day, September 10.

The film talks about suicide and abuse as it focuses on Stromberg's brother who committed suicide in 1969 while attending Central Collegiate. She has one key message she want's people to take away.

"Remember that one act of kindness to somebody who's an oddball, or looks isolated or hopeless, one small act of kindness can mean so much."

Stromberg said she hasn't been back to Moose Jaw in many years, but was pleased to see how much help is available here for those that are hurting.
