Things have gone back to normal for residents of Assiniboia and the surrounding area.

Earlier this week, a drinking water advisory was implemented for the community south of Moose Jaw, but it has now been rescinded.

Residents in the area spent the week boiling water prior to use but can now transition back into their normal routine. Officials say the water test came back clear and the water is once again safe for consumption.

It is still unclear as to what sparked the advisory in the first place; however, Town Officials are asking residents to pass along to their neighbours and friends the message that they're in the clear.
