Environment Canada has issued another Extreme Cold Warning for Moose Jaw and the surrounding area.

"A period of very cold wind chills is expected. Extreme wind chill values of -40 to -50 are expected again tonight through Friday morning in most of southern and central Saskatchewan, courtesy of an arctic high-pressure ridge that has settled in over the area. Bitterly cold weather will prevail most of the province through the weekend and most of next week.

Extreme cold puts everyone at risk. Keep emergency supplies in your vehicles such as extra blankets and jumper cables. If it's too cold for you to stay outside, it's too cold for your pet to stay outside. Extreme cold warnings are issued when very cold temperatures or wind chill creates an elevated risk to health such as frostbite and hypothermia. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to SKstorm@canada.ca or tweet reports using #SKStorm."
