With the first ever Moose Summit underway in Moose Jaw Stor-Elvdals Linda Otnes-Henriksen toured the friendly city yesterday.

She officially met Mac the Moose, had interactions with some of the friendly cities residents, and toured the city.

Linda went on to give her first impression of Mac the Moose “we came in from the airport last night and I saw it on the way... first impression was its tiny it looks so little but once I got here today in broad daylight and closer to it, it’s huge and I think he looks very nice”

She commented on the Moose Feud saying “Its been such an amazing journey and were so blessed to be a part of it and its taken up quite some time and its been the number one focus for over a month now”

During the interview she said she had not been to Canada before and that Moose Jaw has welcomed her with open arms.

She added what her goals for the future were “friendship for the first part and I want us to have a partnership in the future so we can lean on each other and maybe do some marketing together" going on to say "were actually friends and we want to market ourselves and our moose the best way we can”

Mayor Tolmie added that there was potential for twinning our two communities in the future.
