A number of infrastructure projects and how they will be funded will be up for discussion at tonight’s city council meeting.

Council is looking to put forward applications for the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program.

Administration is recommending that the reservoir and pumphouse project be submitted under the Green Infrastructure Stream and the outdoor pool project be submitted under the community, culture and recreation infrastructure stream.

Administration is also recommending that the city’s priority projects for the Public Transit Funding be the cast iron watermain replacement program, the fluoridation equipment and building program, the solar initiatives program and the purchase of three transit buses.

Also on the agenda, city council will be presented with the fourth quarter financial report for 2019.

In executive committee, proposed updates to the boulevard bylaw will be addressed. The bylaw states the responsibilities of the city and private property owners when it comes boulevards.
