You may be in for a pleasant surprise on your way home this afternoon.  Gas prices have taken a tumble.

Across the province the average price at the pump is now sitting at 96.6 cents per litre.  In Moose Jaw, prices at most stations are at least a few cents cheaper than that with a handful of stations as low as 93.1 cents per litre.

In some parts of the province the drop has been so dramatic, the price of gas has gone down about 20 center/litre in just a week.

Gas prices peaked this fall at around $1.08 per litre in early September when Hurricane Harvey slammed texas shutting down oil production in the gulf.
