Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe and Attorney General Don Morgan hinted on Friday that they are open to reviewing the province's trespassing law.

During a bear pit session at the annual SARM convention held in Regina last week, Moe was asked about updating the existing laws - which came into effect in 2009.

The current law only makes it an offence to enter a property if the owner has a tresspassing sign set up, which would result in a $2,000 fine for the offender.

Moe was questioned about the law, hearing the responsibility should be on the visitor to get consent to enter property.

As it stands, the onus is solely on the land owner to post the 'No Trespassing' sign.
