As the province gets set to see a new face as Premier next month, a new person was chosen Monday night to be the MLA for the Swift Current constituency.

The new representative voted in was Everett Hindley in a Sask Party nomination meeting at Swift Current's Pallister Pavilion.

Hindley brings 18 years of experience in politics to the table and served as Wall's constituency assistant before taking on the role of executive assistant.

Derek Robinson was the only other candidate running in the race alongside Hindley.
