Use caution when travelling no matter what form of transportation you use.  Roads and highways are icy and sidewalks can be downright nasty after the freezing rain that hit Moose Jaw on Tuesday.

Most of the major streets are in ok conditions as a good amount of traffic has worn down the ice but side streets are in terrible condition since the rain created a blanked of ice, then the wind polished it overnight. Sidewalks might look okay but are just as bad, if not worse than the streets.

The slick conditions are part of a move back to winter weather. The rain changed to snow as temperatures dropped Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning.  Forecasters are calling for highs around -20 for the rest of the week and -30 with the wind chill.
