The date for the new Saskatchewan Health Authority has been delcared and it will be December 4th, 2017.

Back in March of this year, the move to the single authority was started in legislation and is now moving to be set in place.

On the date the Provincial Health Authority Act will be put into effect, and all 12 regional health authorities, including Five Hills, will be transitioned to the Saskatchewan Health Authority, along with its employees and operations.

Along with the announcement of the date, the organizational structure for the senior leadership team has been revealed. With this, many leadership positions will be dissolved in the separate regions.

The new positions within the leadership team will be hired in a process beginning on Monday through open competition and appointments.
