Another fundraiser that's a part of the Moose Jaw Health Foundation kicked off Saturday morning as "The Little Princess Ball" sold their tickets from 9 am to 12 pm, and yet again, sold out for the annual ball.
Tickets always sell quick for the event with some parents even staying the night in the hallway in order to secure their tickets. Although no one camped out this year, one dedicated mom showed up at 5 am, getting the first spot in line.
"I didn't want to miss out, especially with it being the tenth anniversary, figured it would sell out pretty quick," said Jackie Henderson, the first parent in line. "I was told by my friend who came at seven am a few years ago that she didn't get tickets and she was here that early. So I definitely wanted to be here before that."
340 tickets were available for each night, and by the time the tickets started being sold, people were lined up to the door of the Heritage Inn. They need those two night too, as this is the Ball's tenth anniversary.
"We're trying really hard to make it the best ball ever," said Elaine Crocker, Chair of the Little Princess Board. "Of course I'm not going to give any hints, but, it is our anniversary so I hope you all expect it to be big."
Exact number haven't been figured out from the ticket sales, but they'll be posting the total and updates on the Little Princess Ball Facebook page.
