Tow truck drivers and other emergency crews have been very busy around Moose Jaw and Regina as the return to winter weather has resulted in more than just a few accidents on local highways.

On Monday, over a dozen vehicles hit the ditch as icy conditions on the TransCanada sent vehicles skidding off the highway with several more accidents on the Ring Road. On Sunday night, a tow truck was on the receiving end after being called to a semi in the ditch.  While pulling that semi back to the road, a second semi hit the tow truck.

We have more reports of accidents on the highways this morning with one happening around 9am at the corner of Thatcher Drive and the TransCanada Highway.  Details are light at this point but be sure to slow down when approaching any emergency vehicles.
