Finance Minister Bill Morneau has been in hot water these past couple weeks after an allegation came forth of Morneau using inside information to gain profit.

On top of that, Morneau is also under investigation from the Ethics Commisioner for bill C 27.

Tom Lukiwski, MP for Moose Jaw, Lake Center, Lanigan, believes that Morneau has made too many mistakes during his time as Finance Minister;

"I think the damage has been done already. I think that he has done so many things that have been frankly bordering on incompetent. At the very least, extremely poor judgment has been shown by the finance minister. So much damage has been done already that it's almost irreparable."

Lukiwski continues, saying it doesn't help that Morneau hasn't been answering questions about selling these shares;

"The failure to answer directly the most simple and basic questions about his personal finances and personal assets. Every cabinet minister, when they are sworn into cabinet, vows to conduct themselves to the highest ethical standard; beyond what is required by law. Mr Morneau has not done that."

Lukiwski added that he doesn't believe Morneau will resign or be called upon to resign from the Prime Minister in the near future.
